Ъ (твёрдый знак)
There are no words that start with hard sign. It is placed after a consonant to give [y] sound.
Example:
Cъесть [s-YEST'] to finish eating something

Ы
Same here, there are no words that start with Ы, although you can find letter Ы in the middle of the words:
Мыло [MEE-la] soap

Ь (мягкий знак)
There are also no words that start with soft sign. It’s placed after a consonant to soften it ["]
Here is an example:
Мышь [MEESH'] mouse

Ээ
Экзамен [ek-ZA-myen] exam

Юю
Юбка [YOOP-ka] skirt

Яя
Яблоко [YAB-la-ka] apple
